Rebecca Barber Coordinator for Youth Ministry, Diocese of Plymouth
Rebecca Barber has been working as Co-Ordinator for Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Plymouth for 5 years. She works alongside colleagues from adult formation and schools advisers and as part of the diocesan Department for Formation based in Exeter. Her job involves both face-to-face youth ministry and support for adults who are themselves working with young people. Rebecca is also currently chair of the national Catholic Association of Youth Ministers and Advisers and helps to co-ordinate bi-annual conferences for youth ministers from across England and Wales. Rebecca was born and brought up in the Diocese of Plymouth and graduated from Exeter University in 2001 where she studied law. More recently she completed an MA in pastoral theology which was awarded by St Mary's College, but organised locally.
